Paul W. West, Attorney

Paul joined the Becker Law team in 2019 after being admitted to the North Carolina State Bar. He attended Campbell University’s law and business schools, where he graduated with a Juris Doctorate degree cum laude, and a Master of Business Administration degree summa cum laude. During his time at Campbell, Paul did several legal internships, including with a state government agency, with a corporation operating in over 200 countries, and with the Carolina Hurricanes.

Paul is a general practitioner, but tends to focus his practice on business law and real estate-related matters. In addition to providing estate planning advice, Paul has guided clients through the entity formation process, employment disputes, breaches of contract, and recovering under federal regulations such as the Fair Credit Reporting Act and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

Paul is a member of the Wake County Bar Association, the 10th Judicial District Bar, and the North Carolina Bar Association. He is also a member a member of the Sports and Entertainment Section of the North Carolina Bar Association.

Paul attended Appalachian State University for his undergraduate education, where he received a Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice with a minor in accounting. Paul was also a goalkeeper for the university’s Men’s Soccer team.

In his free time, if Paul is not playing soccer or basketball, he is probably watching Shark Tank with his wife, Marybeth, and their two cats, Nelly and Kovu.
